You know the kind - like a catchy tune the vibe of this movie stays in your head the movie had all the chances in the world to be depressing, but it was far from it, there are only a few drama elements and the title is not deceiving, it truly is a love story and a beautiful one at that and also threaded with great humor, when I laughed, I laughed hard. Wristcutters: A Love Story sounds like a normal enough indie flick. Boy meets girl. Boy gets separated from girl. Boy goes on a road trip with friends to find girl and gains a new perspective on I think a lot of people might have missed the primary point of this movie. Yes, it's a quirky, cute, dark-humored love story. But that's honestly a secondary trait. Our protagonist, Zia, decides that life is not worth living and commits suicide. He's rewarded with this: "Who could think of a better punishment, really? Everything is the same here.
